Bob Dayton has over thirty years of combined experience in the private and public sectors. In his early professional life he worked in marketing and management positions with companies located in the West Chester and Radnor, Pennsylvania areas. Dayton participated in a business development role on successful multi-disciplinary technology teams at W. L. Gore & Associates over a 12 year period leading to significant business growth. He traveled extensively during his career. His public sector experience includes a 7 year commitment in economic development with the State of Delaware focused on building the technology business sector.  

Today Dayton leads the Delaware BioScience Association, a trade association for the life sciences in the State of Delaware. Dayton works locally and regionally to support the growth of bioscience research and commercialization. He participates on committees and boards of a number of organizations including the Delaware Valley Innovation Network, Greater Newark Network, Technology Forum of Delaware, MidCoast Community Bank, Bio-Life-Tech Venture Fair, Greater Philadelphia Life Sciences Congress and Delaware State University’s Innovative Technologies Breakfast.  

Dayton grew up and currently resides in Newark, Delaware where he received his Business Administration degree from the University of Delaware.
